Omg. This guy is soo pathetic in terms of having actual info on what's happening around Lexus it's kinda sad :/ get some real info man or go home. Really.
It's like his supervisor not really speaking Japanese spoke to some Japanese guy who knows something, got half of that lost in translation and another half completely wrong and passed to this guy half of that, obfuscated for a good measure because secrets.
Last time I ever watch this channel. Completely worthless and not worth time watching.
Those who know don't talk. And those who don't, can't for the life of them to shut up, I guess.
PS: glad he at least got his power bar I guess because that really is the only useful thing he got from that training

well 'seems' like there will be a touch screen (personally I'm glad about that) and the android play would also be very nice. I am not a fan of the current RX grill so any change will be an improvement. Hopefully the 'new' model will be on display at the NY auto show.

Don't expect to see anything new in NY in April as far as the RX is concerned.

why do you say that? my understanding, whatever that is worth, is that the refresh will be shown at NY auto show and the model will be available late spring or early summer. We will see.

BUT… NY show might be just the right spot for RX minor changes unveiling, considering actual sales start around summer (july-august?…) and everything would be finalized 3-4 months in advance of that. So, some hope. Maybe. Would've been nice
Still, sure, I guess we'll see… I don't have any new information inflow lately, with my main "source" being in the middle of a messy divorce process, so duh… (and dealers know only so much)

I think you'll see the 2019 RX on display there.

2019 or wait till 2020
We’ve narrowed down our search to the RX 350, but hearing about a refresh for 2020, and a complete redesign for 2021? Anyone aware of the changes...wouldnt want to get now to have a redesigned fascia toward the end of the year. We always purchase cars and keep for years, but also considering leasing. Thanks!

The RX has been on a 6 year cycle. The 4th Gen should come out around April 2021 if Lexus follows its previous release schedule. However, with the changes in the industry moving towards SUV's and the new competition that seems to be coming out daily, and sales of the RX stagnating even with the RXL, anything is possible at this point.

For sure not getting it if you dont own a TGNA next gen platform car or recently refreshed.

Fact for sure, but even the mid cycle refreshed vehicles like the IS and NX, both non TGNA platforms got the next gen nav units that have the support built in, hence why any upcoming refreshed lines will get it.
