I think it's a good deal. Looks like it's slightly lower then some that have less mileage.

Forget CarFax. it's pretty meaningless. The last 3 cars I traded in had $3k ish accident repairs and nothing was ever reported to CarFax. Nobody wants to get their car repaired and have it show up on CarFax when they sell it later. My local Chevy, Chrysler and independent body shop do not report any repairs to CarFax. That's a really nice looking car you're seeking. I wouldn't be too concerned about it being certified other than am a bit curious why such a nice car was not certified!

For a 2016, 34k is a very good price. How you managed to get that price? what was the original asking price? Any more pictures of the car

Allow me to share my experience. I looked long and hard for a pre-owned RX that had all of the options I wanted. I finally found one at an indy used-car dealer that sells lots of higher-end vehicles including Bentley, Range Rover and the like. The RX had 5000 miles on it and had been on the road for just under a year. They disclosed that the vehicle had some minor cosmetic damage that had been repaired and they provided photos of the damage and a report of the damage by a frame inspector.

I crawled around around and under the vehicle and it appeared immaculate and purchased it the same day. All was well until a week later. I entered the vehicle after it had been parked in the sun on a warm day. The car now reeked of cigarette smoke. A month or so later I installed an OEM tow hitch and mudguards to my tow-ready vehicle. While removing the rear bumper, I found that many of the clips securing the lower facia were broken. On the front driver's side I found that other clips around the fender were missing. Also found that one small clip was missing from the front trim near the windshield.

The missing clips turned out not to be a big deal as all of them other than the windshield clip were replaced as part of the mudguard and tow-ready rear facia installs. We're still dealing with the cigarette-smoke issue, trying to eliminate it using charcoal deodorizing bags.

My point of the story is that if you're looking at a vehicle that, based on model-year, mileage and condition, should qualify as L-Certified, there's probably a reason why it isn't.

The pictures look great. What other options does the RX have? That certainly impacts the price. You can see Sport and Triple Beam headlights options in the picture.

HUD, Mark Levinson, Pany Roof?

Great looking car. You can always ask why not L-Certified.

Leave it at your local dealer for the day (or longer if possible) for ozone treatment. Should be around $50 additional if purchased with a basic detail package. Bye bye smells.
