Cruise Control Limit?
I cannot get the car to "lock in" at 25 MPH with the cruise control. Only 28 MPH will it lock.
Is there an adjustment that need to be made?
I want 25 MPH!!

Why? You are planning on cruising on local streets? I don't see any need for this on any major road or highway in NJ. You are either driving fast or crawling
I got rear ended yesterday cruising at about 25mph on a highway, if I was in cruise control my reaction would have been very slow as I'd be too relaxed, luckily I accelerated when I realized this ******** is not stopping in time and my hitch absorbed all the impact. Stay alert > cruise control convenience.
PS His excuse was that he blinked. It was traffic in all 3 lanes, and that was his best logical answer.

Because enforcement is enforcement. I drive the speed limit. When butthole drivers are up my but pushing me in 25 MPH zones, I don't need to pay the price for a speeding ticket because THEY want to go faster. Learn by example.

Try setting the 28 MPH and then tap down three times.

do people actually get pulled over for going a few miles over the speed limit? Aside from in podunk little towns, that is.

Make sure to set the vehicle-to-vehicle distance setting to 3 blue bars so you don't run into the butthole in front of you.

It's actually the other way around. Your speedometer is reading faster than you are actually going. All manufacturers do this. They all read about 2-3% faster than you are actually going. On my Tacoma I put slightly taller tires to factor this is in so now my speedo is dead on.

Called Lexus. Got 3 different answers. Bottom line 25mph with NO adaptive cruise. 28 mph WITH adaptive cruise. If you have adaptive cruise it can be disabled. Does that make the 25mph work?

Just to throw in one more caveat, I've noticed in manual transmission mode that I cannot set the radar cruise control at any speed if I'm in 3rd gear or below. I was trying to set it yesterday for 30mph but it simply would not take... Then I noticed I was in 3rd gear(which was appropriate for the given speed I was at) so I thought what the hell upshifted to 4th and bingo, set for 30mph first try.
