In spring of 2018 I bought a used 2016 RX350 and on Christmas eve, some idiot ran a stop sign in front of me and I think my car is going to be totaled. Takes a long time for insurance to look at it due to the holidays. With this Android box, if not using it (phone not plugged into it), does it affect the Lexus screen operation at all? Home button, Bluetooth, Phone calls, SiriusXM, etc? How does it know where the voice commands have to go? When you are not using the android box, the regular car commands still work? |

Yep, you need to take the screen out to plug in the display cable splitter. It pretty easy. Just pop out the screen back cover, and the little plastic piece in front of the screen. Then you will see a bolt in the back on the passenger side and 2 bolts in front of screen (if I remember it corectly) to remove to move the screen and reach a blue and a white connectors in the back of the display. |
