Default 2019 RX prices

Just got a quote from a Lexus Plus dealer in south Florida.

Mfg list price $52,725 (least expensive Navi system price)
Dealer price, including all fees $49,825
discount about 6%

What do you guys think about this discount for a 2019, with just the features I desire?
Do you think it is worth waiting until about mid November for the "December to remember" promotion?

December to remember will most likely be for the 2018 models.

I have noticed on the 2019 RX 350 AWD base price and the RX 450h (only comes in AWD) that there is only about $1000 additional cost for the 450h compared to the base on AWD 350. I predict it won;t be long before you cannot get an RX without the "h". I understand that Volvo is going that way soon.

Initial quotes for me on a 2018 is 50k for a 56k MSRP. The 2019 I'm also looking at is 56k MSRP but dealer is offering 54k. This is all with light dealing on the internet. I don't know which will be worth it, but some others have said you can get the 2018 for 47-50k recently. I really don't know numbers to tell which is the better buy (year vs price) but I always seem to run my cars to the point of no value or insurance totals it. Rarely do I ever sell and trade up - so I guess the lower the price now is better for me than future value.

Hi everyone, my wife has a 2014(!) Highlander that we're finally ready to replace. I asked for a quote on a 2019 Lexus RX350 and here's what I received:

MSRP: $54,389
Internet Price: $50,393
Special 72 Hour Price: $47,950, additional rebates available if you qualify

Honestly, I was surprised that in the span of a couple emails back and forth they offered almost $7K off the price of a brand new 2019. We're going on Saturday to test drive it...is this the norm? Should I ask for more? I bought an Audi Q5 in July and was able to get them down around 10%, so the discount on the Lexus is much more than I would have expected, especially for a 2019. I'm unsure what other rebates are available but this is an attractive offer at first glance. Thanks.

That's way below market price. Right now seeing $3.5k discounts on the 2019 and over $7k on the remaining 2018's....

Thanks for the reply. It definitely sounded low but I confirmed that it's a 2019 and the one I specifically picked out (the dealer sent me the fact sheet on the vehicle). We have an appointment on Saturday. I'll fill everyone in after that.

EDIT: We bought the RX350 for that exact price - $54,389 was the sticker and they sold it to us for $47,950. I couldn't get them to go down one more dollar in person, and I even tried to get them to throw in the all-season mats and that was a no (ha ha). My wife didn't like the one I had asked for a quote on, so the salesman took us to their lot and we found another color combination with the same sticker price, so they matched the discount. This was at Inskip Warwickk (RI), what a great experience.

Is that out the door price ? or it's before tax and license ? I'm curious now if I overpaid because I just bought mine for $42,250 before tax and license (MSRP $ 48,498)

Today I got an offer for a 2019 AWD RX 350
MSRP: 55804
Offer I received: 51650 (not including 1000 in lexus cash) (not including taxes and fees)

I think it's a good deal, but I think we will pass for the NX (My wife thinks the NX handles more like her old RX). However, if the dealer would be willing to knock off a few more thousand, I will have to make a stronger argument for the RX (I doubt they will go down though).

Our retail was $54,389 and we bought it for $47,980 (which included the $1,000 Lexus cash).

Yeah, my wife doesn’t see the point of spending 45000ish on the RX when she likes the nx more. I’ve learned to pick my battles and will not contest her on this
