just bought a 2019 RX 350 FSports. out the door price of $54000. I live in MD and tax is 6%. I think i got a really good deal. Other dealers couldnt come close.

What was selling price before tax and Lexus cash, doc fees etc? Based on your numbers it seems like around $45,460 but my math is not always the best. I am looking at exactly the same vehicle. Thanks

Hey everyone, I'm looking myself as well for an RX 350 F Sport AWD. Package contains the triple LED headlights, Nav+Mark sound system, pano roof, some towing stuff but with no hitch, blind assist and folding mirrors. Pretty loaded it seems. The dealer is part of this "Lexus Plus" thing and of course they aren't budging on the price.

MSRP: $60,764
Their "true price" - $55,364
And with a 1k loyalty discount
Final price - $54,364

with taxes and all the final stuff - Final out-the-door price $57,755.27

What do you guys think? Is this a good price for what I'm getting? I still haven't gone to a regular dealer to "haggle" but curious if anyone might give some input and seeing if this is even worth considering.

It's not very good. Try to get at least 10% before incentives. I got even more but my deal is not replicable at this time. Don't waste your time with these Lexus plus dealers. If you want to get a better price you need to expand your radius. I drove 1000 miles to get mine.

I learned from couple of friends that the last week of 2018 is a good time to get a very good deal for the 2018 RX350. But it seems that my local dealer doesn't have the 2018 model that I desire.
So if I decided to go with a 2019 model, is the last week of December still a good time to make the purchase (I mean, negotiate a good price with the dealership)?

As you already found out, last week of December may not be the best time to buy a vehicle because there will be very limited inventory. You can expand your radius and reach out to other dealers who have some 2018s left. Also, if you are willing to settle you may be able to get a good deal on what is left but it may be an undesirable color/option combo. In general, the best time to buy a 2019 will be Q4 of next year. It is dealer specific though. I was able to get a pretty good discount on a 2019 model on the last day of November. As a matter of fact I got a better discount on my 2019 than what other dealers were willing to offer on 2018. However I put a lot of effort to get my deal and it also helped that I got two vehicles.

So just to talk from my experience, from my original post, the RX i want is practically fully loaded and I spoke with 5 different dealers and none of them wanted to budge to where the Lexus Plus dealer was at and there was an "acquaintance" at one of the other dealers that couldn't match it either. I was pretty baffled as I expected at least some back and forth but they all just wouldn't nudge, not even match... They all had the same MSRP mostly same sales price but going out the door they just couldn't get to the $57k the lexus plus dealership was giving me. All other dealers came at around 58K-60K out the door.

I don't know if its just because I live down here in Miami, FL but I was just taken back a bit... I know cezar9 mentioned to look 1000 miles out but i dont have the patience to look 1000 miles out so I'm probably just going to go with that deal their giving me

Did you try Atlanta dealers? If I was you I would find a lease broker before I go to the Lexus Plus dealer.

Miami dealers are tough, i tried back in September and ended up hiring a broker in October. Broker did a great job that I could not get on my own here in South Florida. Also, even though the broker expanded the search to locales out of state, the final best deal ended up being local from Lexus of North Miami.

Lexus dealers are spoiled down here because these nouveau riche Miami folks don't negotiate. They just pay whatever they're told by the dealer, it's a Miami thing.
