This is great until it's night time and you're stuck in bumper to bumper traffic watching a strobe light show every 3-4 seconds as drivers reapply their brakes. This ricer siezure inducing invention needs to be banned.

I was just wondering about that in a city like New York. Can you imagine all the blinking lights on every intersection or during stop and go traffic...

Ideally it should only blink if rapid deceleration occurs. The car computer can easily figure it out. If that is too much hazzle, then another hold timer can be used. Do not blink the light after xx minutes since the last time it blinked or if the car speed is above 20 MPH
