Lexus RX350 2017 A/C Condensor - hole
Our new RX350 (just took it in for 10,000 mile maintenance) is having problems with the a/c. First when they checked it at the dealership, they said there was no refrigerant from the factory so they said they checked it for leaks and recharged the system and gave it back to me. In less than 48 hours, the a/c stopped working again. Took it back today and they are now telling me there are holes in the condensor! They are claiming they are caused by rocks. If this happens every 10,000 miles, the condensor is a piece of junk. Any history with problems with condensors. (Granted, we live on a dirt road, but have NEVER had any problems like this with our other older, cheaper vehicles.) Please help!

I had a 2007 RX350 and this was a know issue back then. If I remember correctly the compressor sits low on the engine. And can be damaged from rocks kicked up.
Back then I saw on the RX forums a fix for owners to install a mesh from the hardware store behind the grill.
Every couple of months I would look at the air dam and you can see some nice dents in the mesh.
