Default 2017 RX FSport Back Up Sensors

Hi guys, I just upgraded from an FSport NX to and FSport RX and for the life of me, I can't seem to figure out how to get the car to beep when I am getting close to something while backing up. It does it for the front of the car when pulling forward but the back is a mystery. Any ideas? It is apparently on for when cross traffic goes by when I'm backing out but that's only when there's movement. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

You have to use the Setup menu (cogwheel icon) in the instrument cluster.

Yes, I did do all of that but it still doesn't make any noise when I back up close to something.

Yes it is...I think I have everything enabled and it just won't make any noise. It is supposed to make noise, correct? My NX did. I swear, it's driving me crazy.

actually now that you mention it, i'm not sure if it does! I've had the ICS engage a couple times, but i can't remember if it makes noise like the front sensors or not! Guess I'm going to have to try backing into something.

update- yes the rear parking sensors should beep and show the typical park assist warnings on the screen. Just tried it and it beeped at me.

have you checked the alert distance on your rear sensors under the Lexus Park Assist settings?

Yes, I did see that too...may I ask what do you have yours set to? Maybe I've done something wrong there...

Rear sensors operate independently from the ICS I believe as I had my ICS disabled but still received beeps from the rear sensors when coming close to an object.

mine is set to green. Do the warnings come on the screen? Or does it seem like it’s not working at all?

Do you see the green P icon with the cone in the instrument cluster like shown on the thumbnail of the vid posted?

My bad! All along I thought this was the RX. Anyways, Make sure the ICS or Intelligent Clearance Sonar is ON and of course Parking Assist. Here's how to turn on Parking Assist
Parking Assist On and Off

Your post says RX and you're in the RX forum.
