Thumbs down FYI- TPMS Sensors

I learned that only a dealer can programmed new sensors.

What happens when they rotate tires? How does the system relearn the new positions FR FL etc?

On the recent RX models there is a sensor in each tire well that picks up the tire sensor so nothing needs to be done.

Nice - I recall on a GMC I had, you had to go through a relearn process that was a real PITA.

You're right. It was a PITA. You needed a special tool (I have one) to re-register any changed sensor, even if you rotated tires. But GM products no longer require the re-registration process. Not sure when that changed but they have been self learning for a few years.
