Battery Tender Brand for RX350 FSPORT 2017
Hey guys!
My dad bought a brand new 2017 RX350 FSPORT 7 months ago. My dad does not drive the car much and stores it in the garage. Couple weeks back after not driving the car for months, the vehicle does not start because the battery is dead. Jumped the car with another car and the vehicle's battery was charged. The car will be stored for couple more months without driving so was there any good (best) battery tenders out there that you guys recommend?
Thanks!

As said by others, the Battery Tender brand products are very good.
The key feature that you want to make sure of is that the charger is able to detect when the car battery is fully charged and that, when the battery is fully charged, the charger turns off. There are inexpensive trickle charges available that don't detect a fully charged battery and that don't shut off when they do so, and they can do damage to the battery. The Battery Tender products do turn off when the battery is fully charged. Then, as less than a full charge is detected, they do a low level charge to bring the battery back to a full charge before cycling off again.
Besides the regular Battery Tender, there is also a Battery Tender Junior that charges at a slower rate than the regular Battery Tender. I've been using the Battery Tender Junior for years on cars that I store for the winter, and it does the job just fine. The Battery Tender Junior can be bought for around $30 at most auto parts stores, and I think the price is even lower if bought on line.
