I will double check the instrument cluster nighttime brightness setting tonight. I believe it is set a tad bit higher than the default setting. The other ambient lights are pretty noticeable when I was looking at last night. I didn't even start looking at it closely until I saw the picture posted on the forum.

Yes the 2013 GS 350 Lux package and prem. package does have ambient lighting but my interior color is black. So it doesn't show as bright as I would want it too. But if I'm driving at night on a dark road with no lights that's when you notice it a lot but while doing city driving with all the street lights shining from above the car the lighting gets fazed out.

From what I’m slowly learning with this car. Is that it appears to be prewired for almost everything or a lot of the features you pay for in the higher packages. It really seems like it is an international platform that might actually be plug and play.

Does that mean you could possibly upgrade to the wireless charging that the European models have? That would be in the cubby in front of the gear selector. Looks like a sweet option on the YouTube reviews.

I was thinking the same thing, but I’ve not been able to find the parts list for it yet and I’ve also heard that it is not a strong charger to really charge the phone on another post.

The charger might not be that string. It barely kept the charge level on a 5x with external qi charger. But I recently upgraded to an S8, it charges 8-10% on a 25 minute drive. I think that's fairly good.

There's no means of adjusting the ambient lighting that I've found. It's weak and nothing like the brands you referenced. I wish it were twice as bright and also have the ability to change color. The thread I referenced shows you where it's located.

It is ambient lighting afterall, not bright lights which could cause distractions/reflections in the windows.
