Wow, I know how you feel. When I was looking to buy my F-Sport the dealer told me they had one and I had my checks ready to go. When I get there they show me a non F-Sport version and blamed it on the VIN showing that way. I didn't wait for them to send me pictures first as they couldn't keep them in stock at the time but I knew it was to good to be true.

Anyway, wow I am sorry that happened to you. The F-Sport is different enough that I am surprised you didn't notice the difference in the seats, dash gauges, etc. when you drove that one. If they do take it back the F-Sport will prob be like at least 5k more cost wise. Sorry to hear this story, please let us know how it goes.

I might be wrong but I don't think the F sport in 2015 had different seats. At least not like the 2016>

The most obvious interior difference with the F-Sport is the black headliner.

I know I signed a bunch of papers. The front of the car looks entirely different, I mean the grill. I thought only sports models have different grills. I love the honeycomb grill and that's what I fell in love with. The one they sold me is the regular one. Thank you all once again.
The 2015 RX had three different front ends...

Base/Premium Package

Premium with Sport Appearance Package

F-sport

You mentioned in the first post that it was a Premium Package RX, so I'm guessing you didn't test drive an F-sport but rather a Premium Package with Sport Appearance Package. At this point, there isn't much the dealer can do for you. You saw the car and agreed to purchase that car. You will probably have to trade it in (and lose some money) if you want to get the right car.

Wow! That's a major mix-up!!! Are you sure it's a different car? Are they the same color? Same mileage?

I'd visit the dealer and see if they have the car you tested on their lot still! Hopefully, you have some documentation with the specifications and the correct VIN number. This just seems like too big of a screw up to go unnoticed/unresolved.

Sorry to everyone for the mix up, it was totally my fault. We did test drive two cars that day and the F sport was 2014, the pic on my phone was of that one in the same color. So sorry for having wasted everybodys' time
