Default Service Campaign-power back door ECU replacement

I logged into my drivers.lexus.com account and noticed this.
Anybody else have this?

Bring it in with an empty tank. The dealer is suppose to fill it up (but sometimes you need to ask for them to do it) after performing service campaigns and recalls.

Default Power back door ECU replacement??

My wife brought her RX into dealership for 15K service, but due to mis-scheduling issues she didn't get the service done and will bring it back tomorrow. Anyways, on the service ticket one of the line items says "Campaign: GLL Limited service campaign GLL (Remedy Notice) Certain 2016 model year RX350 and RX450h vehicles Power Back Door ECU Replacement.

Anybody know what this is about? I didn't realize our back doors were so complicated that it needs a dedicated ECU...

Anyone hear anything about this? Couldn't find anything on the Lexus US or Canada website but did find this link on Google from Lexus in the Philippines.
http://www.dti.gov.ph/about/updates/...s-rx350-models

Edit: Found a PDF of the campaign notice from Lexus Europe.
http://www.lexus-tech.eu/toms_cabs/EN/16OSD-088L.pdf

Looks to only affect very early production models from April 2015 to March 2016.

I just received a notice in the mail yesterday. I hadn't heard anything about this, so I called Lexus Customer Care & the guy pretty much stated what my letter says word for word. He had no further info as to what symptoms were present or why this is occurring. I noticed our power rear hatch often does not respond well when you hover your hand over the Lexus symbol. Sometimes it opens right away & other times I have to try & try. Does anyone know if this is the reason behind this campaign?

I have not received this letter or online. I got the car back in June and have no issues with touch free rear door

Default fixed at my 15k service

The dealer did this on my 15k service "Replace the Read Hatch ECU". I did not get a letter about it, they just did it on my scheduled service (I didn't even ask about it). Seems to be a low impact fix.

I took my 450h in for 5k service. Service manager informed me about both the Fuel Level Float Arm ("may display false readings"), and the Power Door ECU recall issues.

He told me they would need to drain the gas tank; I had just filled up with premium at Costco and he assured me they would drain and refill after the work was done. And they did. [Flow Lexus rocks! They're why I'm on my 10th Lex...]

Where are you getting this "dealer filling gas tank"? Did I miss something here? Is filling the gas tank part of this rear hatch recall?

I'll answer my own question. Yes, Lexus did fill my tank after replacing the ecu in the cargo hatch. just had it done.

just got my car back from 10k service, i was not aware about this recall but yet they did it anway, they did not fill my gas tank,

but they did filled it to full on my GS recall the other day (i did not expect them to either), are filling your gas tank suppose to be a thing with recall or YMMV with dealer?

sound like a cheap question to ask
