Default Lowering Kit

Any feelings about lowering springs? How much do they lower, and is the ride affected?

They're very popular. RSR is a great choice.

To the disappointment of a few here, I'm considering going back to stock springs. The feedback from my wife and passengers has been that the suspension is way too harsh (even in Eco and S mode- S+ is brutal).

Perhaps it's CA's poorly maintained highways and streets but their feedback is making me notice the difference more and more.

Any local SFV or SCV recommendations for swapping springs?

Were you not happy with the improved handling?

Over the past year and 2,000 miles, the rough ride made it very uncomfortable for me and any passengers. On smooth payment, the ride was great. SoCal roads are not exactly the best and after taking a few spirited drives through a few of the canyons, I realized just how much I hated it.

The coils were swapped Saturday and I could not be happier. I may go AirRunner with e-Level next month; still researching.

Hi - just joined
I just bought a 2016 RX350 F-sport 3 and want to lower.
Was it just the rough-ride on bad roads that you didn't like? There was another user on here that seems to have taken his lowering springs out too but if I was reading that thread, it may have been because of his body kit.

Anyone else with the RS-R springs ?
I'm in Vancouver, so it's hit and miss for smooth roads here (the cities love to dig them up yet do a crappy job to pave them smooth).

I found mine to be too rough (think lowered Honda/Toyota/Acura from the 90s on the springs). Not nearly comfortable enough to keep them.

Default 2016 RX350 struts shocks and spring options?

Hi everyone,
we just bought a base 2016 RX350 with the 20inch wheels.. What are some of our options for suspension?
( In order to make it handle a bit better?)

We've been reading about the RSR springs.

thanks 😊

Recommendation? Since you're from VA, maybe don't lower your RX-F? The height will help this upcoming winter+pothole season!

I know I'm reviving an old thread, but hopefully you get the notification - Was the rough ride a combo of the springs and your 22's? I have the OEM 20's and I'm hoping the RS*R's will be acceptable.

Default Lowering 2022 RX 450h

Ive looked and cant find this, so I apologize if its here somewhere, if so maybe someone can direct me... Can one lower the overall stance a tad on a 2022 without messing up anything? I dont wanna stiffen the ride at all.just thinking of it.. Will getting shorter coils work? OR will I also have to get different shocks as well... If I cant or shouldnt then I wont...

RS-R makes lowering springs for the 2016-2022 RX450h. Model # T299D for AWD and T279D for FWDs.
