Default Enform Renewal

Is it worth it to renew Enform? We have only put 1000 miles on the car in 11 months. Are there any advantages

All I need Dont to do is remotely start my car. That's all

For Navigation equipped vehicle, Enform has "Safety Connect & Service Connect" for $164.89 annual fee Safety Connect & Service Connect plus Enform Remote price is 249.90 annual fee. Safety Connect & Service Connect plus Enform Destinations is $299.90. Price for all four offerings included is $349.90. I usually sign up for "Safety Connect & Service Connect" part of Enform for $164.89 after the first year of "free" service. It's your call.

The advantages are what is included in the package.

If it is worth it, is up to you!

The super slow response from the remote app make it not worth it for me. Come on Lexus, I need the remote start to start my car faster than 2 minute.

You should not need inform for the Fob to start the car. There seems to be a issue with some users getting their remote start with the key . It does not appear to be a option so it should work for everyone. Does anyone have any ideas on why some of the cars appear not to work and others do . Mine worked immediately . This is a great option to have and is very handy in Florida where you can start the car up ahead of time and have it cool down before you get there . I use it quite frequently and also had the same option on my Lincoln MKZ.

You push the lock button 3 times.
You must push all 3 pushes without a long time in between . On the 3rd push you need to hold it in for at least 10-20 seconds. The lights will flash and then about 10 seconds later the car will start. Hope this helps some of the nonstarts to start !!

You need the Enform Remote subscription in order for the key fob start to work. The subscription on my 2015 GS350 expired several months ago. The fob start works for a few more days, and it stops working until you renew it.

I just got off the phone with Lexus. You do not need the Enform subscription for the key fob to work . It is a part of the car options for at least 2016. I do not know about other previous years ..

Others have said otherwise. Mine expires soonish. So we'll see. If I can start with the FOB, that's good enough for me. No need to pay $250/yr to use the phone to start it. I'll probably only use it 10-15 times this winter. Helpful on those frigid days. But I'll walk to near the car and use the FOB if it works for free,

I thot the "Remote Start" on the Fob was an Optional item and did not come on all 2016 Rx. I tried my fob as instructed above and the engine did not start. so guess my car does not have the option installed?
