Washington wouldn't offer anything more than 5.7% off msrp. I think the Lexus cash offer is $2500 nationwide, but I could be wrong though. It possibly could be one of their tactics to make a profit, similar to how I received offers that included the $2500 cash offer. In all, I was able to negotiate 8.8% off msrp not including the $2500 cash offer. I made inquiries at all dealerships in-state and all provided different invoice numbers. One dealership even said $800 over invoice was a great deal, and this dealership said their invoice cost was 3.3% under msrp..... Best of luck, take your time, and work with those who are willing to work with you.

Thank you to all who gave me advice!
In Washington state, 3 out of 4 dealers are owned by O'Brien group. How do you expect competition!

Anyway, I found that Lexus of Seattle offers better price and ready to negotiate and right now offering below invoice.

This is best deal I found so far in Seattle area. Approx. 8.1% off MSRP and no aftermarket add ons. Cars on the lot usually have some aftermarket which is terrible for lease because you have to pay in full during your lease.

2017 RX with Premium Package, Rear and Cross Traffic Alert etc.
36mo/10k lease.

MSRP $50,429
Sale Price: $46,341.73 (8.1% discount)
Lease cash: $2,000
Residual: 56% (36/10)
MSD: $1,100 (that’s total drive off as well. zero down towards payment otherwise. This makes the APR down to 0.1%)
Doc free: $150
Licence: $632.25
Sales Tax: 10.3%
Monthly Payment incl. tax: $566.41

I contacted some northern California dealers but very lackluster response and not very strong offer either. Doesn't make sense to fly their and drive 1k to save about $1k.

I think he is referring to local vendors like a clear bra being applied to the car or some sort of a paint protection & even an interior application other than Lexus.

Yes, any kind of dealer installed options. I found dealers around here install LoJack, Pro-trim, Pulse etc. Besides being pretty much useless, these are not in car invoice from manufacturer so not counted towards residual. That means you have to pay in full during your lease. For custom order dealer is probably not going to install without asking you first.

That's a good deal. Which Dealer was this?

All of my discounts and lexus cash were applied towards the sale price of the car which brought my taxes down. If your dealer is using that money after taxes then they are messing you up!

Cash back is NEVER a PRE tax incentive - always POST. Dealers have no reason to mess with this as it doesn't line their pockets in any way.

Default 2017 RX350 Fsport in Texas final price

ZnSaucier,
Which dealership in Texas were you offered 10-12% before the 2,500 and what was the final walk out price after taxes and all? They are only offering me about 6% off total in Houston area dealerships for all cash purchase.
This is for RX350 Fsport with Nav, MSRP 57K.

Sorry if my post was misleading. I was referring to the overall market, not TX dealers specifically (I got mine in GA).

We negotiated for a 10% discount on the MSRP which would be less $5996 . The best the sales person said he could do was only $5148. And also the Lexus incentive cash offer by this dealer was only $2000, where as it stated $2500 on the Lexus website and the other dealers websites too. We walked away, leaving the negotiation still open.

Am feeling confused as to why would a salesman want to lose a sale with just 800$ buffer, he has lot of 2017 rx350s in his lot? And can dealers reduce the Lexus cash incentive provided ?
2500 incentive is only for finance. 2k incentive is for lease...or if your in the eastern region then lease incentive is only 1800.

which GA dealer and trim? I'm shopping now and have a couple offers. Best so far is 10% off before lease incentive for fsport AWD but it's in VA and incentive is only 1800 and std MF is .00020 vs .00010. Easily bought down though with msds.

Finalized a deal this evening on a fsport fwd. Had a deposit on an AWD car this morning at Nalley Lexus but the local dealer here in Durham called to see why we hadn't followed up on their poor initial offer. After a short discussion, landed at 6200 (12%) off MSRP of 52679 before 2k lease cash (total discount off MSRP of 15.6%). Std MF of .00010 and 56% RV. Monthly payments will be around 440.

The he guys at Nalley are straight shooters with zero BS, but more discount and not having to travel 6 hours was the kicker.

Do not see a lot of number on Hybrids.

Leased 2017 Rx450h

Almost 9% of $57,730 MSRP
Paperwork state $2,500 in rebates, not sure where additional $500 came from
Also had $1000 certificate
Ignoring certificate discount plus rebates 13% off with $1K certificate 15% off

So what was the dealer discount??
Sorry confused a bit. Thanks.

The extra 500 could be because the December sale started the beginning of November.
