Default Aftermarket Wheels

Does anyone have Aftermarket Wheels on their RX? I have seen a few pics here and there. I have been thinking about it, but would like to get some ideas of what I would want.

If you would like, shoot me a PM with some ideas of what you are looking for, and I would be happy to help you find something.

I am currently shopping for a set of 22" Wheels for my RX.....
Im leaning towards the route of the Vossen CV1s i use to have on my old suv..... might do a 1 inch drop as well depending on how it looks.
Last ive been told my rims been discontinued so I might have to look at other brands.

Tread lightly. I have done this with two separate 4Runners and it never road even close to factory. I even had them put the factory tires and novo. Never could eliminate vibration. I won't do it again on a Toyota product. I have the Lexus 20's and love them.

I'm wanting to step up from the factory wheels as well. They ride too smooth for me. Those CV1's are boss.

Update: 22" Vossen CVT Gloss Graphite (22x10.5") Deep Face Concave on my 4RX:

I was disappointed to hear that Vossen discontinued the CV1 line....... I am currently pricing out Vossen CVT Gloss Graphite.

What size, and for what vehicle? I can check availability and shoot you a quote, if you like.

Just got them over the weekend. I love the wheels. But they aren't as flush with fender as I wanted them. I will probably add a 5mm spacer all around. I was scared 22x10.5 would be too wide and stick outside the fender.

Niche M157 | 22x9 ET 38 | 265/40/22 Toyo Proxies.

VERY NICE!! .. you got a side profile picture so we can see how flush it is? Also how is the Ride on the TOYO tires vs Stock?

I ended up going with the VFS1 22x10.5 .... should be on the car in couple weeks.

My wife isn't complaining about the ride so it good. It a little nosier but i think the tires might be over inflated will have to check. Can't wait to see your 10.5s. Should've waited for you before getting my wheels. All the 22's i saw on the forum were 22x9. but the offset was 30.

Bad picture i know but i found someone posted his ride on youtube w/ 22" Vossen CVT Rims ... he claims vossen made him a special set at 11.5 !!! but i think he really meant 10.5
Also from the video feed i know he's running 265/45R22 tires... I also noticed he put his Front LEFT and RIGHT rims backwards(maybe he did it on purpose) here is a link to the video.

Just wanted to bump this thread to report what i went through at my local auto shop.

Ordered Vossen VFS1 22" . i didnt know too much about rims so I let the guy at the shop order the wheels and tires for me.... i basically just told him Vossen VFS1 22" 10.5 all around w/ Toyo tires... I let the shop decide the OFFSET and tire size. Waited 2 weeks for the wheels to come in and got the appointment to get them install today.... unfortunately the rear tires DO NOT clear the shock and one of the arms.... I would have to get a 20mm spacer at least on the rears for it for work/clear.... I am a horrible driver and our roads are in real bad condition where I live so I really didnt want to go with 20mm spacers.... The shop said theyll reorder with vossen tomorrow since they have a lower offset that will clear.... (i dont remember the exact offset numbers ) but i will try to get that info tomorrow... just wanted to pass this along to my fellow CL members.
