Default EZPass and camera sensor

RX350 has camera sensor located in black box attached to window behind rearview mirror. Instructions indicated to avoid placing devices that emit electronic signals or an antenna close to camera sensor. We normally would attach our EZPass where the black plastic box is. Has anyone experienced ezpass-camera sensor interference? If so, what are some of the safe locations for ezpass?

Default EZ Pass Location

My EZ pass is centered below the black box behind and partially below the rear view mirror. Have not experienced any problems. The pass is about five years old.

Thanks Valley101
First Lexus, so let me be sure I understand. Our 2016 has some other features that might be effected by the EZ Pass transponder; for example, rain sensors, active cruise control, emergency stopping, auto headlight management, etc. Are those features on you 350? Thanks again.

I placed my EZPass right next to the windshield sensor in the black grid area and have had no issues on HOV or HOT lanes.

vision1996,
I don't think the EZPass emits a signal or has an antenna. I think the instructions are referring to a radar detector or similar. JMHO.

vision1996, I put my E-Z pass in the upper left hand corner by the driver's side window and it works fine from there. I have the RX450h Sport. It doesn't obstruct my view and it works without interfering with anything or being interfered with. I only use it occasionally when I'm on the certain freeways that take it, so I leave it off for day to day driving, but the ugly white Velcro strips are there on the windshield which isn't pretty.

You can call EZ pass and switch to license plate reader, I just had buy longer screws 1/4x2 inch for the plate and it works perfect and even acts a bumper protector when parking.
Only issue I have is sometimes I like to pay airport parking with EZ pass and certain airport or lanes you need to hand it to them which I can't in those cases
