It seems like a lot of steps to voice call a number.

The last step is to select a phone number from a list???

What is that? Where do these list numbers come from?

Is there a way to stop this when making a voice call.

Shouldn't be that difficult. You should be able to tell the car who to call. It's even easier if you have an iPnone.

1. Hit the VC button, wait for the beep
2. "Call (contact name)"

That's it. You don't have to got through the whole menu.

So I hit the VC button.

Need to say:

Phone
Dial Number
Say Number
Dial
Select from some list

5 voice commands to make one call.

Unless I am doing something wrong.

You don't have to go through the steps. Just hit the voice button and say "Call (name)"
