Is the F-Sport leather quality as high as the Luxury Leather?

I think it's very likely that the left side bolster will incur of lot of extra wear, and will develop creases that will make the seat look worse over time. any time you have to slide across the bolster to get in and out, it will not be a good result as far as wear and looks are concerned.

My corvette had adjustable bolsters and even if I opened them fully when exiting the car you would rub against them as they were taller than the rest of the seat. They did show wear issues after a year or so. If you are rubbing on that part of the seat when you get out of the car it is going to show wear much faster. By having fixed bolsters the Lexus only fits certain types of individuals.

I have a 2014 GS350 F Sport that I love. I will be in the market to replace my wife's Jeep GC and we are looking at the 2016 RX. I don't see the benefit for a F Sport in the RX.....just cosmetic items. I agree with others that the luxury package is nicer and less expensive.

I drove both models and chose the luxury package primarily for the seats. But I wouldn't call all of the F Sport package items cosmetic. The F Sport comes with several unique items not available on the other RX models: F Sport seats, paddle shifters, and most notably the active and adjustable suspension. You also have the Sport+ setting in the adjustable drive modes that is only in the F Sport.

I'm happy with my RX, but would have liked the option to get the adjustable suspension on a non-F Sport model.

It would be great if they offered the sports seats with the quality of the semi-aniline leather with adjustable bolsters. Also offer the blacked-out grill as a option.

Speaking of adjustable bolsters, I still contend that the 18-way adjustable seats on the GS should be put on every Lexus! Those are the best seats I have ever sat it, no doubt about it!

It is strange that they do not offer it as a upgrade if they have it on their other vehicles.
