Default Replacing Stock 18" Wheels - Need Help with Offset

I am replacing the stock 18" wheels that came with my 2016 FWD RX350. Going with the BBS SR wheel shown on this site:

https://www.vividracing.com/catalog/...tni1uttl1q9i81

The BBS wheel is18x8 5x114.3 40mm. I believe that the Lexus factory wheel is 18x8 5x114.3 35mm. Is 5mm difference in offset something to be concerned with? Will it likely clear the brakes and suspension pieces?

I'm planning on moving my tires and tire sensors to the BBS wheels and then craigslisting my OEM wheels. I am looking for a good tire installer in Los Angeles, so if anyone has a recommendation, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!

I actually called them this afternoon. The person on the other end says he needs to check with the Engineering team. Apparently, they check a number of different things besides before saying OK this wheel will work on this car. The on line configuration only has a limited number of wheels to choose from. Probably because the 2016 RX is so new.

Did you check out their list of installers in your area?

Also don't assume you can always transfer your sensors.
Many times you can't.
Make sure you can before buying.

You can try American Tire Depot in Pasadena. I have been using their services and am pretty satisfied.

Good advice. Thank you. Tire rack told me if their engineers say the wheels should fit and they don't for whatever reason, they will reimburse me for the return shipping. It's all contingent upon their engineers, so i am just waiting to hear from them.
