I have the plastic Lexus supplied front license plate holder. Ibelieve I have it in the right place but how do I install the two screws that fasten it to the car?
The front plate holder is found under the mat at the rear where the spare is kept. Save the 2 screws packed with it.
Install the plate holder on the front between the 3rd and 4th “slat” below the Lexus emblem and be it is centered below the emblem. You will see two indented places with holes for screws. Take the 2 sheet metal screws supplied with the plate holder and, with a power drill screw them in. Alternatively you can drill 2 holes and then use a screwdriver to fasten them.
You should mount the the license plate using the holes on the top of the plate.
You are done.
If if this sounds like too much work your Lexus dealer will do it for you.
I just purchased a 2017 rx 350 f sport it came with a front license plate frame but it is not attached,how does it attach .
Is the regular rx 350 frame different? The grills are different.

Should be two screw bolts in the bag with the holder. There are two indents on the Fsport grille that show you where to drill. I think I used a 1/4 bit when drilling mine. Super easy.
I've been driving my RX around without a front license plate...crossing my fingers that I don't get pulled over forced to install it.
If I do have to install the front license plate I think that I'll use one of the "Front Bumper Tow Hook License Plate Mounting Brackets" that you see on Ebay, screwed into one of the front towing eyelets (refer to the picture from the RX Manual below) on the RX. It looks like the towing eyelet cover has a tether, I haven't looked into the details yet.
