dealer said lexus is too busy in aug, sept, oct to accept special order. He said lexus tried to build as many RX as they can the first few months of the fall so they can send the 2017 to dealer lot. he did tried to get me into a 2016. I think i should wait b/c of the vibration and the AC noise

When do 2017 arrive? Any rumors?
Primarily looking for android auto integration as its such a shame to waste the huge display on the subpar native lexus experience. Does lexus usually release in the fall?

I'd be shocked if they do something as drastic as that in a mid-gen upgrade, but I could be wrong.
I know it's not a perfect solution, but Google did announce that Android Auto will soon be its own standalone app. So soon you'll be able to run android auto on any Android phone or tablet you currently have.

I remember a vendor here promised 3rd party integration, at this time thats all I`d be looking forward for.
If your a techie, look at other brands for burning edge in car tech.

Did I mention it's on the pricey side? I think their target price is in the $800 range.

Lexus will be moving LSS+ from an option to being an standard piece of kit on the RX, although exact SOP for this are yet to be released.
Line issues that might have been identified this MY, are to be fixed. Now due note that unless the issue has been officially identified and fixed, things wont change.
Besides that, business as usual.

That'll be nice. Most people seem to be getting the LSS+ anyway, so manufacturing is probably easier when it's put in everything in the first place.

Yup. Regardless of how good LSS+ maybe, bringing it free will ramp up adoption and evolution of the tech behind it. Huge for Lexus for changing the game!

2017 RX350 Updates and Release Date?
Does anyone have information on when and what will be included in the 2017 RX350 Update? I've only heard of the LSS+ being standard so far. Wondering if it's worth waiting for or if grabbing a deal now is the way to go. Thanks!
