I just did a comparison of tire sizes for 22's and the recommended size for best minimal variance is 265/40R22 with only 0.56% variance (a half percent slower). The step up to 265/45R22 is 3.86% too slow and is not recommended if you care about matching your factory spec performance. The comparison was done based off of the F-Sport (20's). There's 4 to 5 star reviews on the Falken Ziex S-TZ05, so I'll be trying these out first.

green is recommended, red is too much variance which could cause lower gas mileage and performance

The 22x9's are in, but I changed my mind to the deep face wider 22x10.5's (finally got the right offset with help of Allen at Vossen and my guy at Discount Tire) so they will be in next week. There's another guy at Vossen that's going to measure his RX350 hybrid andput some 22's on his.

It's confirmed from an inside source that RSR is already working on making aftermarket springs for the 4th Gen RX350.

You took a nice pic from that angle. Got anymore close-ups of the wheels to share.

Darith-the wheels are 22x9 and the offset is 38mm. The shop said the rx offset is 20 to 35mm so these are 3mm off but it's not a big deal.

RX469- I attached another pic

Perfect!! Looks great! What exact sizes did you end up with for wheels & tires? I think that's the best wheel design for the angles on the 4th gen. Do you notice a big difference in the ride?

SIZE: After we tested a few different wheels widths and offsets we found that 22x10.5" +30 offset fits and clears both fronts and rears. I ended up with sticking with the recommended 265/40/R22 (0.56% diameter variance) but you can go with 265/45/R22 (4.02% diameter variance) if you personally don't mind the 3.86% loss in speed (there is another 4RX owner running this setup).

RIDE QUALITY: I definitely can feel the road a bit more (the ride is more firm, quite similar to the feel of the road when I test drove the Audi Q7 S-Line with 21" wheels) and it's usually the tires (tread design) you choose that depend on how loud the ride is, and of course since the tires are thinner I can feel and hear the bumps more, but it's still smooth during high speeds (just a bit louder).

TIRES: I ended up going with some Falken Ziex S/TZ05's in 265/40/R22. I was going to go with the "better" Nitto NT555 Extremes but they were rated as summer tires and got bad reviews for wet surfaces. I thought it was a nice comparison as another 2017 Audi Q7 owner is running this same setup (Vossen CVT's 22x10.5" and Falken Ziex S/TZ05's).

That looks great! Surprised it didn't make the fender gap look crazy which typically happenes when you put on much larger wheels without lowering the suspension...

Default 22" Vossen VFS1 2016 RX350

Wheels : VOSSEN VFS1
Size : 22"x10.5 all around
Offset: +42 Front +30 Back (See drescription below)
Tires: TOYO
Size : 265/35/22

This rim buying experience was pretty horrible and I guess it was partially my fault for not doing the proper research.
I went into a local reputable wheel shop to order these wheels..... All i said was I have a 2016 RX350 and
i want the Vossen VFS1 10.5 all around.
I left the shop guy to choose offset and wheels (big mistake)
A week later my rims come in and i go in for the install. They ordered me +42 Offsets all around.
+42 OFFSET WILL NOT FIT OUR RX350 w/out at least a 20mm spacer
The shop tried to sell me on the 20mm spacer but I just couldnt do it and I was already pretty pissed off at that point.
@darith that has been helping me throughout this ordeal mentioned they have a +30offset for my VFS1 22x10.5 So we ended up reaching a compromise and I had them reorder 2 more VFS1's (+30offset ) that will clear my back.
Couple weeks pass and I get no call so I follow up with them (they said Vossen forgot to ship out my order ) So i wait another 2 weeks and finally get them install today.

Here is the end results. I wasnt too happy with the end result because of that huge fender gap (see pics below)
Obviously I cant leave that huge of a fender gap so I will probably end up doing a 1 - 1 1/2 inch drop when springs are available (RSR is working on one right now)
The wheels drive nice and relatively quiet.... not as quiet as stock tho but im sure after a few weeks i will forget about it.
I hope this post helps guide you in the right direction and not the wrong direction i took.... if i were to redo it again id probably go w/ 265/40/22 tires instead.

DAT GAP DOE!
oh and the icing on the cake was they couldnt program my tpms cause their sensor didnt have a 2016 RX350 programmed on it.
Feel free to ask any other questions
Thanks for looking
@DARITH THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

*EDIT*
Also for those who are wondering about the road noise I hooked up an Decibel reader to my phone and recorded before an after from my dash board.
Road noise Normal stock 20" michellin tires was at 81DB average going approx 60mph on freeway
Road noise TOYO tires 22" was at 87DB average going approx 60mph on freeway (exact same route as above)

My pleasure bro. Your Vossens look clean and your ride is meaner now yo! Very nice shots, you have a good eye. I need dust off my DSLR and shoot some better pics too. The two above in the quote are my favorite shots of yours. That last one looks like it could be in a Lexus brochure.

That's interesting they couldn't program your TPMS. I'm sure Discount Tire can help you program them for you if you have a location nearby.

Exclamation 2016 RX 22 Rims

Hi,

I'm looking to get staggered 22 inch rims. The minimum width for rear is 10.5. (9 front 10.5 rear). Is this going to be too wide and rub...especially if I lower car? I don't want the wheels to extend beyond wheel well. Any recommendations for offset and tire size? I dont want too low of a profile.

E
