18" vs 20" Tires?

That's ridiculous. Did you ride along with a dealer rep? If not, I'd suggest you insist that someone ride with you and when it starts vibrating look him in the eye and ask if he feels it.

Perhaps real wheel balance issue if you feel it in your seat. Rotate the tires and see how it feels - if the vibration is then in the steering wheel, it's probably a tire out of balance.

No doubt it's a balance issue, but my point was he shouldn't be diagnosing the problem. The dealer should.

I upgraded to 20\" wheels as I felt the 18's seemed a little too small for the size of the vehicle . I was considering 22's but I didnt want to go with a smaller ratio size tire as I still wanted to maintain a softer ride. I think 20's were the perfect compromise .

That's it in a nutshell. The 18s just don't fit a luxury vehicle like this.

I don't notice the size difference between the before and after shots, but I do like the "after" rims.

Any difference in ride quality? I was under the impression the 20s didn't ride as nice as the 18s, which is why I specifically opted for 18s when I went looking.

No I personally am a huge supporter of maintaining ride quality and comfort so I was very hesitant on getting the 20's but I figure if i could feel any difference i could always revert back to the 18's which feel very plush and just place these new 20's on a Camry that I own but after driving a few hundred miles on them I can not feel any difference in softness or stiffness . They feel exactly the same as stock 18's OEM . Im using a 235/55/20 Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport All season tire with this setup . The rims are Enkei Phantom Anthracite 20x8.5 with a 40mm offset . It sticks out 1.1 mm further out from stock which is unnoticeable . Some people would probably opt for a 22" or possible lower their vehicle with the RSR lowering springs but Im not planning on this doing as this is just a lease .

yes - drove w/two technicians on two separate occasions. Balanced, aligned, rims checked, tire round checked - all fine or minor adjustments made. Everyone says I feel nothing as described. Definitely going to 18" wheels as soon as feasible.

I have the standard 19 inches.
Side track a little, I went to Costco to change one tire, cost $220 plus $15 installation plus tax (need special order)
quickly went back to Lexus Dealer cost $255 OTD.
Anyone know better price else where? This is the second time I change my 2017 RX450h.

I assume you mean "hitting too many curbs"? If so, you better be careful you don't damage the rim. Then you'll be talking real money!

If you add up all the Costco charges, it probably equals the dealer price. You could try pricing it out on Tirerack dot com, but there will be a mounting and balancing charge wherever you bring it.
