Just finished installing these not sure how long it took but most likely 1.5 hrs solo install with limited handy man skills and I took my time.

Instructions were confusing but just head to reread not to mention it didnt come with any so thank you guys for posting the manual as I kept screen shot and zooming in.

Rears took literally 5 mins to do total since I started with the front which was a little more complicated.

I was very discourage at first as it is a brand new car and I was drilling holes, taking off side molding, but in the end I am glad I completed the job myself!

thanks again everyone for the tips.

Default Mud flaps/splash guards for '16 RX

Got those on Ebay , with mounting hardware included. Takes about 15min per each to install.
Pretty "straight-forward" installation.

It looks like you bought the ones from China that are not OEM. Refer to this thread for the Lexus OEM mudguards.

Pretty sure those are not OEM.

check out this other thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...f-sport-2.html

Lexus logo and screw insert areas shown do not look like OEM Lexus like.

Default Oem Mud Flaps Rx Fsport

Is this available as port option on the fpsort. This has been frustrating. My dealer says you can't even get mud flaps for the fsport which is not true because I have seen them put on by others. Lexus needs to get there stuff together are start educating there dealerships. I just want turn key! I don't want to be drilling and messing with mud flaps when someone else can do it from the ports that has done it.

Curious what other dealers have said....

my build sheet says "factory" and "post production"

everything that is built at the factory i'm assuming is factory

and the mud flaps are under POST production I am assuming the dealer installs

CALIFORNIA FREMONT LEXUS.

Are they actually fairly functional? In other words, do they keep the vehicle cleaner around the wheel wells?

It looks like it could add more drag to the car. I have read online that you could lose up to 1MPG with the mudguards installed.
