Default Seasucker Bike Rack Option- No crossbars, no hitch, No problem

Hi guys- testing out this new rack I just got since at the moment my cross bars are even an option for the panoramic roof.

I have owned all brands of bike racks in the past from Thule, Yakima, Kuat, Yaris. The Seasucker is different in that it can go on any car at anytime in less than 5 minutes. Basic concept are suction cups that hold the bike to car. Suction cups and moved within seconds.

I am waiting for the new Thule T2 Pro hitch rack to come out next month but for now this works amazing.

Looks awesome... but I would be afraid of one of the suction cups coming loose for whatever reason and having the bike topple over and dent and scratch up the roof...

I hear you but you can read a number of solid reviews from Porsche forums to Renault forum all raving about the rack. I do prefer the hitch rack so once the new Thule comes out I'll be using that!

Angeles Crest Highway! My backyard.

I am a cyclist also. Used to have hitch style carriers until I bought a Toyota Sienna and now my bikes stay inside upright like this:

I had one very unfortunate incident involving my garage and a roof mounted road bike. Never again. Hitch style was a good option when i had a Prius. However, I did notice that the hitch style can damage the paint on the frame and also i have grown a reliance on the rear parking sensors. Hate disabling them.

I lay down a big moving blanket to catch any dirt and oil that drips from my bike. Not that i care that much about the sienna's interior, but i was doing it in my RX, i would probably put two blankets down.

Default roof mounted bike racks

Can anyone recommend a roof mounted bike rack system for 2 bikes. We have a new 2017 RX 350.
Thanks for any help

Good luck with your awesome new car but you have a Gen4 vehicle and this is the Gen3 forum. I'm confident that a forum mod will move your post for you.

Look very cool but suction cups tend to fail overtime, this a gamble. Good luck.

PS What's stopping a thief to your bike?
