Post number 222 has a pdf of the TSB, but the last two pages are missing. Anyone have these pages?

For those of you that had the TSB done, did the dealer put a sticker (Authorized Modification Label) under the front of the hood next to other labels? They said they did the TSB on my 2016, but no sticker was affixed to the hood.

I am not sure - I will check once it has stopped raining.

TSB attached - Canadian version

I don’t really understand the hesitation TSB. I get flashing the ECM, but I don’t get the battery reset procedure. If you disconnect the battery (and any other power source) from the electrical system wouldn’t you lose all settings? When they did the TSB on my car, all settings were maintained. If you put an alternate source of power on the system to maintain the settings, aren’t you defeating the purpose of a battery reset?

I asked that specific question prior to the battery reset which they did not do. I was happy with the TSB, maybe 75% better, and I did want to lose any benefits of the TSB. The tech guy said no and he was right, no change to the TSB results. Don't ask me why, I haven't the faintest.

Nope. No label.

The only thing I have is the work order stating that they completed the TSB.

Not only did I not get the "completed" label, but they did not do the battery reset. I am going to take it back to the dealer and tell them to do it over again and to reset the battery leaving it disconnected for at least 1/2 hour. I'll post if the problem has been corrected.

The label is supposed to be on the under side of the hood - up front, by the other labels. I checked the drivers side door jamb area, and I don't have the label there.

The TSB identifies affected F-Sport, and Non-F-Sport (4WD) vehicles by VIN, but it is my understanding that only 2016s and some 2017s have the hesitation problem.

PS — My 2016 was made 12/15 and is affected while my 2017 was made 11/16, and is not affected.

I might suggest that you have a different problem. The hesitation TSB is dated in February of 2017 and is applicable to 2016 - 2017 RX350s.

also the 2018rx......i had a 2016 and that didn't have this....it drives me crazy.....i've been to dealer numerous times and the service mgr recognized the problem we tested the car for quite some time and he said they are hopefully working on a fix......he also said they probably won't because of mileage ratings....i also run in sport mode and that helps but the car still skips.....
