got the following price estimates:
3m crystalliine $685 including windshield and moon roof, 50% all around/moonroof and 70%windshield
pinnacle f1 $385 including windshield and moonroof, 35% all around/moonroof and 80% windshield.
i am in florida. i am leaning towards pinnacle f1 and use the extra $300 i can save from the 3m crystalline to put clear bra on hood/bumper/side mirror and rear bumper $650.

I have 3m crystalline on the front windshield on my GS and pinnacle f1 on the front windshield on my RX and there is a difference between the two and both cars have ceramic all around.
Also on the RX, I did 70% front windshield, 20% front windows, and 70% rear windows and door because the windows in the back are already dark.
685 is pretty cheap for 3m crystalline all around. I was quoted anywhere between 800-1000 for all around. If I were you, I would do the 3m crystalline on the front and pinnacle f1 everywhere else.
I also did full front clear bra on my RX for 1200. Is 650 for full coverage or partial coverage? What kind of film are they using?

looking at spec sheets 3m crytalline70 for windshield has 50% TSER while F1 Air80 has 43% TSER, is there a big difference in real world eprformance between the 2?
they are using 3m for clear bra, i was quoted a bikini package, half of the hood.
i havent asked about full coverage.

is the difference between 3m crystalline and f1 pinnacle huge enough to warrant the extra $300?

From personal experience, I prefer 3M on the front windshield. I'm not sure if you are aware of the slight blue tint on the 3M film. I personally don't mind it but others do.

Hey guys, just got the 3m crystal tint on my new fsport with red leather.
I was able to get a lot of good information from this thread to make the decision on what i wanted.
So thanks everyone!
Only got the front windshield (70%) and front windows (40%).
Just wanted to share pictures with you guys so others can see the difference. I didnt want to have it too dark but enough to be make it look "clean"?
3m crystalline tint on windshield (70%) and front (40%) windows.
Red Interior.
Left is my fsport with the 3m tint on the front window/windshield only. Right is RX without any tint.

Anybody here have experience with a 2017? Does the 2017 have the same color glass as 2016?
I was going to do 20% on my fronts to match the stock rears however the tint shop told me using the 3M color match film at 20% even though close would still be darker than the rears.

I had 3M Crystalline done this past weekend. The last time I had it was in '08 when it still had metals. Since then, I just had forgotten about tint in my vehicles. I was reminded of tint when the size of the RX windshield set in
I did 90 on the three rears. 70 on the windshield and 40 on the front two. Driving home, I felt comfortable driving without my dark Spy sunglasses on and could immediate feel the difference in heat transmission. I go back for the pano roof on Thursday.

I went with 40 (35 is the limit for front windows in Maryland) up front and 15 for the rear. Ceramic tint only because I got it 50% off on Black Friday lol but I'm glad I did. You can definitely notice a difference compared to regular tint when it comes to blocking heat and supposedly ceramic will block more than 90% if UV rays entering the vehicle.
