Default All Weather Performance Credit

So I was at a Lexus of Stevens Creek and they had 350 hybrid in the show room with an all weather performance credit... I asked a sales person and he asked his manager, both werent sure what it was.

Any ideas on what this is? Is it a combination of packages that gets this credit? Like all wheel drive and cold weather package?

Edit: It was a $1400 discount as another member once said.

I googled it and there were zero hits for "all weather performance credit" except in your post.

Yeah i tried the google thing too... the dealershio didnt even know... the only other time ive heard it is in the prices paid thread above on thw sticky.

Ill swing by again and take a picture of the sticker... its basically a line item that says all weather performance credit - $1400.

On that specific car it offset the 12" navigation i think since the navigation was marked as $430 only.

All it means is Lexus made it so that there was no extra cost if you went the all-wheel-drive option.

Are there specific cases where that happens? If i were to pre order... would i be able to get this discount?

Are they not all AWD? What's the other option? FWD? What's the point of that?

No, you can get FWD. The discount applies to all AWD 350s and 450s. Lexus made it so the base MSRP was the same for both. The AWD just has a higher starting point and then the discount applies. I'm sure there is a tax things for them how they break it out that way.

For places like SoCal where we don't have much variations in weather.

We placed an order for an AWD 450h last week and it included the credit ($1204 invoice, if you're negotiating around invoice price).

Default All-weather drive performance credit

I notice that on the Lexus.com website, the base price of an RX450h F Sport is listed as $55,645, but on the MSRP it is $57,045, or a difference of $1,400. Coincidence?
