I just got my 2016 RX 450h last week and it's pretty much fully loaded - Luxury package, triple lights, panoramic display, etc. but no Qi charger... I was disappointed.

they also have the automatic rear seat buttons on the f sports AND the heated seats on the rears.

No charger for the US, but that is OK
Since it isn't a fast charger it is pretty much useless for any drives under 4 hours.

Get something like this instead and charge your phone from 20% to100% within the average one way commute time.

A limited number of NX's had the awkwardly positioned Qi "chee" charge pad in the
center console. As only a very limited number of phones come equipped and the
add on charging case for an iPhone is larger than the inset holder it has been a
non starter. A dealer meeting discussion indicated that the RX was not going to
come equipped for the foreseeable future.

I put a Q1 charger in the area and it does the trick. I just put the phone in the area and it charges.

I'm shopping for a Q1 charger for my iPhone. Mind me asking what brand that is?

Here is my solution. I purchased a Qi charger from Amazon:

And a Anker Quick Charge 12vt plug:

You need to use this type of plug to get at least 2 amps to go to the Qi charger.
All together it was about $30.00

It works and fits perfectly for my Samsung S7

There's a section for the Qi wireless charger in the owner's manual, page 524. Doesn't say if it is only available in the US or Canada. It only states "If Equipped". It also states it is designed to supply low power electricity, (5 W or less), and that device compatibility is not guaranteed.

My Canadian Model F sport came with Qi charger. I am missing few things that are offered in USA and not Canada though:

Lane Centering assist
All speed Dynamic Radar Cruise control

If you own an iPhone you can not use a qi charger without first purchasing a special case that allows it to integrate the phone required components.

If you own an android devices( s6 timeframe or and above), chances are you already have the necessary hardware built in

Has anyone thought about retro fitting the US model RX with the factory Qi charging pad from Canada?

Just bought a custom order 2017 RX350 and I specifically asked about the Qi charger and was told its not an option. My dealer said the charger wasn't compatible with "US". Not sure what that means though.

I have a Samsung S7 edge and I love the wireless charging feature. Would prefer not to have cables all over the new interior if I can avoid it.
