Struggled to choose between the luxury package and an F Sport that was similarly equipped in Caviar/Rojo red interior. I will miss the adjustable suspension and customization of drive modes in the F Sport, but ultimately the seats in the luxury package swayed the decision.

Thank you all for answering my many questions. I took the plunge this morning and traded my 80,000 mile 2009 LS for a brand new Silver 2016 RX350 AWD. My car is fairly basic...stickered at $48614. I did not get the NAV (never used it in my LS...Google maps is easier) or the high end options. It's just me and the wife most of the time and it's mostly for around town..very little long trip driving. Anyway, thanks again to all of you. Now we have two RXs as per my signature below. I drive the brand new one (2016) and my wife drives the still-new-but-not-brand-new one (2015).

Probably will be the only one that has a 3rd generation and 4th generation RX just 1 year apart. Will be easy for you and your wife to do some comparisons. Maybe switch cars with her every once in awhile. Congratulations.

Nightfall Micah (dark blue) with the brown/bamboo interior. 20" wheels, safety package, parking assist, 12" display. It has about 80 miles on it so far, so not broken in yet.

This is my fourth RX (I lease through my business and trade in every 3 years).

I also have an '81 Fiat Spder for fun.

Got my new RX 350, 2016 Nightfall Mica and Noble Brown interior, with Luxury Package in Ottawa on Feb 22.

Customer service slightly better than the Porsche dealer in Ottawa. My other ride is a 2015 Cayenne S (carmine red)

But still no match in customer service to the Lexus Dealers in GTA ( Toronto area).

Got my RX 350, my first car, on 22nd Feb, my birthday too.

Premium package with Parchment interior.

Was very keen on Panoramic moonroof but did not want to pay for the luxury package. And wait time for custom orders was quoted at 4-5 months.

Absolutely loving this beast so far.
