The new RX is gorgeous but I like the GS more. Had a gen 2 RX and loved it but I like the sportiness of the GS more. They really did a nice job on the redesign in my opinion.

Ive owned a 2nd gen RX and currently on a 2012 RX450h F-Sport.

I love the 4RX. It's Easter Friday tomorrow and I'm working all day because double rate!!! Got to save up for the 4RX F-Sport. I'm sold on the red interior, not too sure on exterior colour yet

I'm considering it. Will check it out after it's released. The acceleration issue with my fsport '13 infuriates me so much that I want to get rid of it.

My wife will definitely consider it. She's current in a '11 RX450h and likes the look of the new one quite a bit.

Lexus says RX with third row is coming early 2016
I just don't see how they can fit a 3rd row under that sloping roof??

I would imagine the third row will have a different body at the rear, like an RX350L. Think Santa Fe Sport and Santa Fe.

I'm not considering it at this point in time. I will have to see it in person. Looks pretty ugly in photos. I can't imaging the styling having much staying power. Here is where I think Lexus design is at the present moment. I was over at my son's home and a silver NX was driving up the street. I mentioned it to my wife and she looked over at it. As it approached us, I realized it was a Mazda. Opps.

I am considering it but not the first year of production. It's a tough choice, I consider the new Volvo XC90 as well.

Looking for the 450H, but only if the powertrain is an improvement over the 3RX. Oh yea, the price has to be right too

Ditto. Looking to special order a fully loaded 450H but waiting for details:
  • Weight loss - this is a serious omission. My 2010 3RX is bloated.
  • i-AFS - swiveling, tilting headlamps - bring it back!
  • CarPlay
  • 450h: New hybrid powertrain - where are you???

Also have to see it in person to see if I can live with the polarizing front!

I was on the Lexus fact page (under future models on Lexus.com) and they weren't specific other than saying there were changes and both the 350 and 450h power-trains were 300hp. I watched one video that hinted they designed for regular gas and better mileage. If the 450h has truly been re-mapped for regular than that would be a definite improvement. But I'll wait about a year to let the price gouging subside. And maybe if the gas prices stay down awhile as predicted the (h) may be easier to get a deal on. After 60 trouble free miles I'm sold on the technology.

I will be upgrading my 2006 Lexus GS300 to this 2016 RX, looks awesome! I have 2 step kids and one of my own so we need more space.

I really want to like this, but I can't get past that front grill and rear swoopy roof thing. Interior, mechanicals and technology I like. For me, Lexus has gone overboard with the gaping front grill, especially on the RC and now the RX. Have been awaiting the new RX because we'll be looking for a new vehicle in a couple years and were hoping to get back into an RX. My opinion and I know many like this.
