Exclamation Side view mirror unable to adjust in Reverse

it has been snowy weather for last couple of days. Noticed yesterday during Reverse, righy side view mirror keeps trying to adjust the mirror but something is not working right.
Has anyone faced similar issue? Still under warranty, thinking of taking it to dealer , would he charge for diagnosis ?

Can you adjust the mirror yourself, without going in reverse?

If the temperature was responsible for the problem, then it would affect it both manually and in reverse, if I'm understanding you.

You should adjust the mirror angles to use when driving forward while in Drive or Park.
You should adjust the mirror angles to use when reversing while in Reverse.
The video seems to show that it is trying to move beyond its range. Try readjusting the
mirror position while in reverse to a more centered angle.

The 1/2/3 Memory system will memorize the forward driving position(s) but does not link
the reversing position, all drivers of the car will get the setting. Note: if you "center" the
mirror position rocker (some models) or turn off both the left and right buttons (other models)
you will defeat the dip down feature for all drivers.

When I have the same problem with my mirrors, I spray the inside of the side mirror housing with 90% rubbing alcohol.
This will work as a de-icer and 10 mins later usually mirror can fold/unfold and adjust in reverse.
