Default Abs lights on after replacing battery

My 2016 350RX was working fine on a long drive home. Stopped for gas and then it wouldn’t start and all brakes locked up. It was making a clicking noise. We thought it was the alternator and had it towed to a shop. I was relieved when they said it was just the battery. They replaced it and immediately the dashboard abs lights lit up. Took it to two different shops to reset it with a scanner and both are saying ABS left sensor not working. This is too much of a coincidence. Has anyone else had this happen?

Welp. The hypothesis could be that the original shop that installed the battery disconnected the wheel speed sensor to upsel some work. There is literally no reason for the ABS light to go on after a battery failed for longer than a 5min drive while the system acclimates.

I'll bet you that the tow truck operator hooked up some chain to hold down the RX and possibly damaged the star ring or the sensor itself. Have someone check check all four sensors and rings.
