Has anyone else experienced a stiff brake pedal after leaving your RX sit for a few days? The stiffness is similar to when you pump your brakes while the car is off - the pedal retracts and becomes stiff.
I went to the dealer to ask about it because my 06 IS250 has never had this issue and they wrote me off by saying that the RX is a different vehicle and I shouldn't compare.
Just wondering if any other 4th Gen RX owners have experienced the same. Is this common for the RX? The brake feels fine after startup and driving around. It's just after having the car sit for a few days that the brake becomes stiff to the point where I need to press down harder to start the car. Is this normal or should I press the dealership to look into it more closely?

just searched the forums, there are to s of explanations. Normal function.
My 2019 RX does the same thing if it sits 3 days or more. If the dealer says it's normal, I may try to replace the booster check valve. However, the replacement part may be as defective as the original. Lexus may say it's normal, but it "ain't" right. I had the same issue on a new Mustang shortly after purchase. Took it to the dealer (under 1000 miles on the odometer), and they couldn't find any problem. I replaced the booster check valve myself. Now the car can sit over a week and not lose vacuum assist.
