any idea on this schematic apparently this is 360 unit and what is required for front camera to function properly,do you think if i just plug in camera alone the display would pick it up?

It may or may not work, I'm not sure. It may display the front and give a warning that the right and left camera malfunctioned, or it may not work at all. I have purchased all the items except for the side view mirrors with the cameras, looking for cheap used ones but so far they are way too expensive. Just being patient until I can find them for a good value.

I would imagine it would need dealer programming. You can also see if something like Carista may allow enabling the feature.

I was told that it is almost impossible to install the missing cameras, even if they are original equipments. The problem is not only the install itself. Perhaps you will find a service guy, who can do it (but even this is not sure). The big problem comes at every periodic service maintenance: if a refreshed car software will be installed during the mandatory maintenance, released based on your VIN number (= based on your original car setting w/o extra cameras), the extra camera(s) will not work anymore. And you need to go to your service guy again and again, and it is not sure, he can help you again with the new software version...
Nonetheless, I very hope some solution too...

I think there are 3 key items needed for this retrofit to work. The parking assist ECU processes all the video and displays it to the display, the panoramic switch turns it on/off, and the radio switches display modes. There is only one part number for parking assist ECU, so you can rule that out. You'll definitely need the panoramic switch. As for the radio, I'm not too sure about.

Many thanks, this is very good news. However, I've thought too, the existing ECU is suitable. But the ECU's software seems to be the problematic point. I can purchase all of the missing cameras and the panoramic switch too, but I'm not able to install an other software. And I don't know, if the panoramic feature is only a switchable yes/no parameter of my existing ECU software (which can be adjusted by a service guy with the specific tool), or I need a completely other software installed. I think, this question should be clarified...

Hey Andy, any luck on this? Like you, I will be going the Beatsonic route if no luck hooking up to the existing connector. Thanks!
