Mine was late, 7/17.

Interesting! I just went to the site, put in the VIN, and no indication when a fix would be available. HELP!

Just curious, when I put mine in, it said I have no outstanding recalls at all. Did yours say you did have (at least) one?

What is the build date of your 2017? Maybe there is a correlation between the build date and the vehicles being recalled. Mine, built in 11/16 is not on the list.

Just got an email from my Dealer about this recall, but my car is not listed by VIN on Lexus website. I guess I’ll wait to schedule since fix is not in anyway. My RX is a late 2017 model.

Default TAPPING SOUND 2018 Rx350

I’ve been hearing a tapping sound under the car towards the middle of the car towards the back. Does anybody hear this too. Looks like it starts the noise when the car is not too warm yet.

Please help!

The only "working" component in that region of the car that I can think of would be the fuel pump in the gas tank (low behind the rear seat). There is a thread where another person reported hearing a noise from their fuel pump. Otherwise, especially the taps are not regular in their timing, a heating up exhaust system could possibly make some noises as the metal expands.

Is your fuel tank full (or nearly full) when this occurs? Does it go away when your fuel tank is not full?

If affirmative - there is a TSB for this.

Do you have the recall pending for your car?
