Default Chinese display?

I just got a new 2020 RX 450H. One thing I found is it doesn't display Chinese fonts (e.g., songs or phone contact names). Is this a known issue or I need to configure something? My 2015 Odyssey has no problem. I cannot believe it'd be a problem with Lexus.

I have the 2020 RX and it doesn't have Chinese, Korean, or Japanese. I think is just a market language thing, Lexus/Toyota probably didn't add this to the system

To be clear I am not asking for the main menu to display in a different language or accept any foreign language input. Just display stuff as-is. In 2020 it should not be an issue!

Is Lexus/Toyota still the only car company in the whole bloody world that doesn't support unicode fonts on their head units? Very disappointing to hear the '20 RX with the latest Gen OS still doesn't display those fonts.

I suspect CarPlay/Android Auto would be the only way to display the characters?

Yes Car Play works fine. It's quite embarrassing.

I own two Lexus, 2007 IS 250 and 2018 GS 350, none can display East Asian Characters. I was okay with my IS since it was 2007, even Windows XP would require you to install Unicode code package to display it, but I just can't believe why my 2018 GS cannot do this, even the loaner car (IS 350 2021) will not display it. I'm more convinced that this is more like an image thing rather than technical issues.

And sorry Lexus, I do not take this BS at year 2022, I will buy whichever else car which can display the song title from Spotify.
