Hello All, I currently am trading in my 2018NX300 for a RX350. I am debating between black exterior and either birch interior or noble brown. Problem is I cant find ANY photos in the internet with an RX with birch interior. Hopefully someone here Has some, or any input on the interior colors? That would be very helpful.

 

You can go to Lexus.com and build any combo. I looked at birch but it would be hard to keep clean.

 

We currently have parchment in our ES and RX. It looks very similar to birch. I have never cleaned the seats because they were dirty. I do about once every two months clean them with Zaino leather cleaner and a soft kiwi shoe polish brush. The brush is used to agitate any dirt. This takes less than 60 seconds to do each seat. Would never own a dark interior.

 

Depends on your circumstances I guess. With my Border Collie and a birch interior, cleaning the seats would be a daily ritual. No thanks!

 

Personal preference. I run fast from light interiors. They will look like a warzone in no time unless you rarely have passengers.

Birch is a beautiful light silver grey. The floor and doors are black with grey and silver accents. Looks very elegant.
I’m not a fan of the noble brown. Very dark chocolate accented with black, silver, and more brown on the dash.
Clashes with the grey headliner in my opinion.
Like others have mentioned I stayed with the black because of the upkeep.

I have the Birch interior with black trim. Love it. Had a 2009 RX 350 with light tan interior. Never caused a problem in 10 years in relation to getting dirty, stained, etc. Very periodic cleaning/wipe down with a leather cleaner/polish kept it looking great.

 

Lexus is discontinuing the brown Carpet and dashboards in 2021 in favor of using black carpet on all RX interiors.
I’m looking at a 2020 RX with parchment interior. The brown dash and carpet-I’m on the fence. I don’t love it but will I hate it?
Birch/Black is a choice, but is that too boring??

Interesting - they just changed the parchment interior in 2020 when they did away with the 2-tone faux seat leather.

 

Don't do that to yourself. You will hate it after a few months. The brown/beige interior is just horrible. I really liked the beige, and when I saw that it came with a brown interior in person, I absolutely hated it.

The birch is quite nice. I imagine it will get dirty easily.
