Default RX350 sport atomic vs nebula

So...I'm debating on which color combo to order in the 2020 RX350 sport .. nebula gray w/circuit red vs. atomic silver with black interior. Unfortunately the closest dealer is a good 12 hour drive away so I'm relying soley on pictures online at this point ~ this will be my 4h RX since 2009....my previous cars were silver w/black; satin cashmere w/tan; and current is white w/choc brown. I'm hoping someone on here can assist in my decision ~

Hi, I just got the atomic silver with black interior, I used to have an IS 2014 and 2016, both atomic, first one with red interior but I didn’t like it so after having the black interior I never went back to other interior combination, in my opinion is a nice color under the sun and good at night, also I like a lot that you don’t notice much the dirt on it, I’ll try to post pictures tomorrow so you can see it if you think it can helps.

Your three previous cars have all been light in color. That is all I would ever buy. Dark colors like the nebula gray are very hard to keep clean. Living in Montana my guess is you are not able to wash the car most of the time for four months. Regardless of the clean, I would get the atomic silver. Beautiful color and unique. Next two days driving around count the gray colors you see and the atomic silvers.

Have a close look at the circuit red interior. It's a bit on the loud side and very different from the prior red they were using (Riola I think they called it).

I debated between these 2 colors myself, but stayed with nebula which I also had on my 2012. My favorite color on a car is a lighter shade of gray or a darker shade of silver, which both the nebula come very close to being my perfect color, wishing the nebula is a shade lighter and the atomic a shade darker. All 3 of my cars are gray lol, the nebula is the lighting shade of them all. The *perfect* color for me is the turbulence gray from the 2020 Supra. The atomic is a stunning color in certain lighting conditions, but the one thing I didn't like it that it looks beige under a certain light, and I thought even a tinge of green in darker and cloudy conditions.

Nebula is not that dark, and while doesn't hide dirt as well as atomic, is not difficult to keep clean. Here's my 2019 nebula RXh after I applied ceramic coating on it.

I've had an Atomic Silver GS and a Nebula RX. Both are awesome colors. I found Nebula Gray to be remarkably easy to keep looking nice, along with the Atomic Silver. For me, this choice would come down to the interior. I am not a fan of the red, so I would go with the AS on black. But really, you can't lose with either of these choices.

My current GS is Smokey Granite Mica. It's a real pain to keep looking nice.

I'm new to this forum and appreciate all the feedback! I was worried the red might be too bright/bold, so am going to go with black interior for sure. Living in Montana I'll likely go with the atomic silver. This will be my first fsport...my other RXs were the regular model. Thanks again for the feedback!

RX F-Sport looks sexier in Nebula Gray. Nebula gray is also easy to maintain. AVOID Circuit Red at all costs. It's horrific in person and the red on the door panels is brighter than the seat color and looks like plastic. Black sucks too but there are only two options. Nice job Lexus.

What kind of ceramic coating did you use? Did you do it yourself?

I spent a lot of time looking at Atomic, Nebula and eminent white. I am an hour from my dealership so I was able to see all the colors at the same time in most weather conditions. I really liked all three, and FINALLY chose the Eminent white. My second choice was Atomic. Its an amazing color that changes in various light conditions.

I did get the black interior, which I love. There are no bad choices out there on these things.

I'm so torn between these 2 colors, or shades. I'm starting to lean towards whichever dealer offers the better deal.

Interior will be red for sure, I'd welcome more opinions.

I have had two Atomic Silver ES sedans and one Nebula Gray Pearl RX 350. The Nebula Gray is pretty easy to maintain, but the Atomic Silver is a little easier. I am partial to the Atomic Silver myself. With a good coat of wax it really stands out. Both are great choices though.

I wound up with a nebula due to "circumstances" and am very happy but I know i would have been very happy with atomic which was my original first choice. Having said that the first one i ever saw was an atomic and i thought it the most beautiful. After 3 years of always sizing the colors up when i see them the conclusion i have IMHO is that under the right lighting, (dealer showroom or not sunny) Atomic is unbeatable. Under too much light, as in a sunny day, the atomic can looked "washed out". Also atomic looks really weak when its not in "good shape", (dirty or lost its sheen etc). The nebula is always "just fine", understated, but never "showy" at all. Now I've probably managed to confuse you even more. The good news, after 2 weeks you won't care but make sure you like the interior, (which is what i did and that mostly does it for me, as long as the exterior is acceptable).

We faced the same choice when buying our 2020 RX450h. Finally "nebula gray w/circuit red" won. My daughter commented that the black interior looked "so Uber".

To me, the circuit red interior looks better and better with time.
