For those who owned/own the 1st Gen GX470, you guys are probably aware of the "clunk"/"thump" issue which was fixed with a new propeller shaft. Mechanically I don't know the difference between the truck based 4WD and a car based AWD system or if there is any chance a rx350 AWD would develop this type of issue. I am just curious to know if anyone have this issue?

I have a 2017 RX 350 and have had no clunking/thumping issues.

 

No clunk here.
