Default Dual climate control

I thought adjusting the drivers side temp also change the passenger side by default.
But they always act individually. Is it normal?

when I drive alone, do I must adjust the temperature twice both driver and passenger side?

Press the dual button (located on the HVAC screen) and it'll sync both the driver and passenger side temps.

Isn't that why they call it "Dual Climate Control"?

Ah, I knew they were synced at one point.
Thought the Passenger vent button would control that.

Ya, it's useful when the passenger wants to control his/her side, but it should easily sync when Driver wants to adjust the car temperature
A lot of cars have DUAL button on the dash so you can do that easily.
Extra work when you have to go to the screen to do that.

I don't know why the S-FLow button (the button with two seats and vent signs) also have the DUAL function as well.
I thought it did and couldn't figure why it can't come out of Dual climate.

I thought the same thing but you don't have to go through the Nav screen menus. There's a S-Flow button on the front. I can't remember which one because I found it by messing around but I'll try and take a picture the next time I'm at my car to show you.

A touch of the passenger side control cancels the DUAL setting.

The S-Flow is in the on-screen menus, on the '18 at least. No hard button.

Hard button as well I'm pretty certain.

I'm going to have a look at mine - perhaps they changed it from 2017 but I
m pretty sure there's an sflow button in that panel.

Base level RX's have manual recirculation (main diagram above) while Premium and above have
the Auto button show in the inset screen. Particulate sensor in the air plenum detects dust, pollen,
diesel exhaust and closes the damper door. Note: skunk odor does not have any particulates...DIY!

The Split Flow function had a hard button in 2016 and 2017 but is now a soft key in the Climate Screen.
Quite sophisticated, when engaged and you are driving alone - HVAC for just the driver. Passenger
(or any weight over about 40 lbs.) will add the passenger side vents. Watch the right side temp display,
when S-Flow is working only the Driver's side temp will show. Passenger climbs in...display lights up.

NOT true on mine. With DUAL already engaged, a change of the passenger side temp setting cancels DUAL.
