2017 RX Best Prices So Far?
Put the first ~500 miles on it yesterday. If I didn't have to stop for gas near the end, I could have comfortably made the 7 hour trip home without stopping. Nice ride!
Hey guys!
We're currently debating on leasing a 17 RX350 and I'm wondering if this is a good deal and if I should put money down to cover my negative equity on the trade:
MSRP: 57,270
Disc to: 53,720
Rebate: 2,000
Total after disc and rebates: 51,270
Trade amount: 32,000
Owed on trade: 40,058 (wife really hates the 16 Jeep Grand Cherokee and doesn't mind taking the hit)
12k 36mo @ 944mo w/ 0 down
Would it be better for me to go ahead and pay the negative equity up front or just have it rolled in just i case anything happens to the vehicle then I assume I would be out that money is that right?
Do I need any other information to see if this is a good deal or possibly any better deals available? (I'm in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas if that matters)
Thanks for the help!

Thank you to everyone who provided such valuable information on this thread. With little effort, this shy mom just picked up a new RX350 for 11% below MSRP, not including the $2k rebate.
My typically-equipped premium package AWD came in at $49,416 (with rebate, but before crazy CA taxes!). MSRP was $57,774.
Numer at Lexus of Stevens Creek (San Jose) was good to work with as was Patrick at Putnam Lexus (Redwood City).

Thank you to everyone posting here. Just sent the deposit info for my '17 450h in my first choice color and interior, and flying out Saturday to pick it up!
MSRP $63,335
Discount $7,000 (11%)
Lexus Cash $2,500
Before TTL $53,835 (15% off)
This is the first car I've purchased, solo or otherwise, so reading other people's posts really helped a lot.

Care to post the dealer and salesperson you worked with in Houston for other members? This is almost unheard of in Houston, but maybe you were at the right place at the right time. I have heard of others not getting anywhere near that deal in Houston and they are on the lot, in person.
Just purchased our new Lexus RX 450H this past Friday. Using this forum, along with several other resources, I was able to get a great price on a brand new Nightfall Mica w/ Parchment interior with almost all the bells and whistles.
MSRP: $61,499 (they had quoted $61,010, but it was a slightly different model - they gave me the all weather mats/cargo tray and cargo net/wheel locks/key glove since it was their mistake)
Panoramic View Monitor
Cold Weather Package
Touch-Free rear door
Bi-LED headlamps...
Luxury Pckg
Panoramic Moonroof
12.3" Mark Levinson Nav system...
Towing Prep
Would love the HUD, but they are extremely rare in these parts.
Dealer emailed me with an OTD price of $51,195. Felt that was too good to be true, he actually told me he fat-fingered the price in his email, but didn't hesitate for one second to honor what he quoted.
Total with TTL was $52,702.47 which I feel was a great price for this vehicle.
Ended up being a great experience - too bad my local dealer wouldn't even give me a real quote to try and be competitive, even though I told them I was doing my homework. Had to drive 4 hours away, but I have no regerts...!

well, i agreed to a local deal, but they need to find the atomic/black 17 rx450 with hud, triple beam, lux, ML audio, tow and hitch, pano camera, power rear seat, ..........( nothing paid yet)
msrp 64600
Discount $6,000 (9%)
Lexus Cash $2,500
Before TTL $56050(13.5% off)
accessories at cost, body side moldings, mud flaps, other things
not my best deal, but fair, and reputation wise, my dealer is normally not generous at all with discounts.
i have been quoted 8200 for a discount in california (10700 off total), but then if i drive back, i have to pay their sales tax. also i couldn't get an answer about 500$ registration in california, if i had to pay that or not. then also pay more back home. shipping for the car i was getting quotes in the 850$ range. the Cali car could be a better deal, but the selling dealer would have to get 1, they don't have that color in stock. California otd price was within 1k of my local dealer if i drove and its 2k miles away, i have not shut this deal down yet, seeing what local the dealership can find. there is 1 scheduled for production the end of the month, delivery early december. I think thats the one he is going after.
