Anyone got the smart card wallet key for the RX yet?

 

I'm still waiting for someone to get one as well.

 

On the IS forum a member had an RX and reported that he had a smart card key but he lived in Canada. Don't know if the US market has this option. I'd love to find out though as I have a 2017 custom RX 350 on order.

Card key comes standard in Japan as well (had it on both 3RX and 4RX)…
It's pretty strange Lexus wouldn't include one in US (Canada as well?) models. WHY?……

Can't say it really is that useful, but I do use it sometimes when I don't want to bring my whole keychain with me… And again, why not just include it across all markets? Can't cut THAT much into Lexus profits on the model, right?

 

I wonder if you can purchase one in Japan, and have it shipped and programmed here? Any thoughts?

 

Just picked up the car yesterday no smart card only two fobs
I knkw in China u get 2 fobs plus 1 card

It's obviously an accessory that can be had from dealers outside of the United States. I just want to know if we can get our hands on one they will work in our cars in the United States?

 

Remote start is listed as an option here in Canada, along with the tinted window hood protector etc. I am not sure if they are talking about the 800 meters one since his description is "remote start, you take out your key fob, lock button one two three the car starts" They say they never heard about any "cards"
