Default Color Insert 20inch Wheels

Does anyone know how to change the color insert for the 20inch wheels?
Is there an on-line parts list for the 16RX which would show all the colors available?

Thanks.

Well, I have black inserts installed. I don't want to pull the wheel just to find out I can't get the insert off for some unk. reason.

Same here and me either. I was going to pull out the insert as I did not like what I saw in the pictures but in real life, I like them.

I would be interested in seeing what my wheel looked like naked but not enough to pull the inserts just yet.

Will these inserts hold up to the car washes?

I don't think Lexus would use a material that would fail after a few washes. But in one or two years we shall see.

Agree with the others and it is too soon to tell. A few years will tell for sure. Might be good that we can replace them

Thanks so much for the graphic! Bummer it looks like the attachment points are ugly and very visible without the inserts in place.

Lexus offered the RX350 in a Special Edition named "Thundercloud" that featured Alloy Wheels with plastic
inserts back in 2008/9. These are in used car inventory and the wheel inserts appear to be holding up just
fine.

Has anyone tried to paint the inserts? There's a rim repair place near me that also offers custom paint jobs on rims so I was going to look into a little further. I have a nebula pearl RX 350 and was thinking of painting the inserts in the F-Sport blue. I'll update if I ever do go through with this.

I am thinking over time with wear and teared, the inserts may fall off or even rattle when going over rough road. Could this happen? I am just curious how durable it is. I like the 20" wheel style but that insert part kind of bugs me.
Most importantly, are those inserts available for purchase separately from the wheel(user replaceable part)?

Default Wheel inserts for Lux 20 in

Our new ride is a 2019 RX350L with luxury pkg., and with that option, the wheels are 20” with body colored inserts between the spokes. I check around and find that those inserts can be changed to either black or white; mine are atomic silver. While in San Diego today I stopped by the dealer to inquire about availability and cost. Good grief, they’re only available as a full 20 piece set, and the cost is $840! Yikes! The good news...not available yet, and this gives me time to check out other options. For those of you that are interested, the part number for black inserts is: 42604 48050.
