I 'discovered' how song tagging works. When I would tag a song, it would say 'storing information', but I had no idea where it stored it. I saw a youtube video on how it works: Hook up an ipod (I have a 1st gen touch) to the USB port in the car, then hook the ipod to your computer & open itunes. In the playlist's, there should be one called 'tagged' that has your list. Tagging only works with stations that broadcast in HD (most are).

 

I used my windshield wipers for the first time today. They seemed noisier than than the previous model.
Hubby said its because its this first time. I'm not convinced, I drove in the rain for about an hour and they were still annoying me.
Anyone else notice this?

 

I noticed they were loud the first time I used them as well, but I do think it gets quieter over time...

 

I am certain Lexus is getting feedback from dealers and customers about opportunities to improve the 2016 RX. I wonder if waiting until the 2017 is released would be advisable?

Lexus does incremental changes with every year. So best bet is to enjoy now then later

 

This one I have not figured out yet...

When I select Menu or Radio or Media, after sometime it switches back to Map on the split display or even full display. When I am not using navigation (for daily commute for example), I would prefer to have more info/album art, etc displayed.

I searched through the settings, but couldn't find any obvious thing to tweak/select. Any insight would be be helpful.

 

This is on a 4GS so YMMV:
Setup -> General -> Auto screen change (set to off)

Do I need to do something special to enable my Phone Contact pictures? The contacts are transferred over but not their pictures. FYI, I have a Nexus-6 w/ Android-M

is there a switch to get the illuminated scuff plates to come on? Can't seem to figure it out.

 

They should come on when you open the door. There're hard to see in the sunlight. If you can't see them at night you need service.

I made a quick sharp left and all of a sudden the car warns me to take the car to the dealership. A lot of the features said were malfunctioned (line assist and ABS). I'm a little annoyed.

Anyone else run into this?
