AM / FM tone control.
I noticed there is no tone control for AM radio listening. I use FM listening for music and AM for news. FM has tone control and AM has none. Somebody please bring me back the old radio where you just turned the dial to the right to add treble or to the left to add bass, and it worked for AM or FM. I thought high tech was supposed to make things simple. It doesn't. Now you have to pull the car over and stop somewhere to go through 6 different menus to change anything. A genuine nuisance. Or, maybe I got spoiled on how simple and easy things were 50 years ago. You never had to take your eyes off the road. Just reach down and turn the dial.

A couple of tips for the radio controls on these RX's.
Hard key "radio" selects sources outside the car, AM, FM and XM.
Hard key "media" selects sources inside the car, Bluetooth, Aux cable, CD.
Along the left side of the main screen at the bottom is "Sound".
Select this and you will see the top banner is for Treble, Midrange and Bass.
Note: you will be setting these preferences for each band, ie., jack up the midrange
for the AM to make the talk radio clearer, jack up the Bass on FM for music.

mcomer thx but those instructions you gave doesn't make it easy. Too much button pushing. I wasn't actually asking for directions but just complaining. In the old days you could adjust the tone turning the dial left or right without ever taking your eyes off the road. Not anymore.
