Buyers guide help
I've been reading the form the last few weeks. I'm strongly considering purchasing a my first AWD RX model with between 80-100k miles. I'm curious which years I should avoid and might be the most problematic. Also, any other issues for specific years I should be looking out for while I conduct my search? I'm hoping this car to last me to 200k+ miles.
any help and info would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Buying a Used 2015? - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion
this may give you some info.
I think 2010 and newer should be your consideration, I prefer pre 2016 for the styling, but to each their own.
Buying the most recent best condition vehicle, I don't think you could go wrong. There are several trim levels, so get familiar with them and determine which options you desire.

You want 2013 and newer as that is when it was "refreshed" and the systems are a little more modern than the older years. Plus they had resolved the earlier problems by then. Service history is key when used car shopping. The great thing about Lexus and Toyota is that you can easily find the dealer service history online at the Lexus Drivers Site by using the VIN. It is free to join and you then just enter the VIN of any vehicles you are interested in researching it will show the equipment/options on it and the service/repair/maintenance history if it was done at a Lexus dealer.
